Whereby the study focused on estimating the prevalence and determining the risk factors associated with pregnancy in adolescents between 10 and 19 years of age at the Loja Health Center N°1, through an analytical research of cases (22 pregnant adolescents) and controls (44 non-pregnant adolescents) with a quantitative approach in a universe of 66 participants, in which was used a data collection file for cases and controls of Challco Soto & Nina Chávez, processed subsequently in Excel and the statistical program SPSS V26 to calculate the point prevalence and probability of adolescent pregnancy by means of the Odds Ratio (OR) effect measure. The results highlighted an adolescent pregnancy prevalence of 11%; personal risk factors such as schooling, number of sexual partners, and contraceptive education stood out with an OR of 3,933, 3,600, and 6,500 respectively; within the family factors, intrafamily violence and communication with an OR of 9,556 and 4,500; and in the socioeconomic factor, alcohol consumption with an OR= 4,667.
