| Tóm tắt: | Mathematical skills are considered as the correct use of mathematical knowledge to interpret, describe and respond to the different needs that arise in daily actions, they are a fundamental basis for the development of life, a very young age children begin to experience complex situations where a quick solution is required, this is a process that requires perseverance and continuous participation. The objective of this research work was to determine how the structured material improved the learning of mathematical skills in high school children of the Teniente Hugo Ortíz General Basic Education School in the city of Loja, period 2022-2023. Its approach is Quantitative with quasi-experimental design and a descriptive scope, when developing it, inductive-deductive methods were used, which served for the construction of the theoretical and analytical-synthetic framework that contributed to the analysis and writing of conclusions. On the other hand, to obtain results prior to the application, the EVAMAT-0 Test instrument was obtained, which was applied to a population of 20 children who are studying the level of preparation between the ages of five to six years, obtaining the following data : 63% found themselves at a low level in mathematical skills, after the application of the activity guide "I learn, playing and playing so that my mind can record it" based on the structured material, obtaining as a result that they prepared overcome the difficulties located at the beginning, at the end of the execution of the same no child was found in the low level, being located only in the average, high average and high levels, in this way it is concluded that the structured material is feasible to teach mathematical skills and can be used as an alternative to achieve higher levels around mathematics Keywords: mathematical skills, geometric figures, structured material, intellectual development. |
