Alternative Guidelines; overall objective was to determine how the experimental work done by teachers in the teaching-learning process of Physical Chemistry, contributes to the development of skills and abilities in students of the second year of Bachillerato General Unificado School "February 12" Night section of Canton Zamora province of Zamora Chinchipe, semester 2013-2014. Carvajal Rueda and Cano, mentioned that "the experimental work are all those planned and carried out by the teaching activities, students or both; either inside or outside the classroom and allow anticipate concepts, laws and phenomena not yet seen in class or on the contrary, illustrate and affirm after having worked. (Carvajal & Cano, 2008). To fulfill the research the following methods were used: dialectical method, descriptive method, the analytic-synthetic method, and techniques were recorded on an observation and survey.
