Crynodeb:Pregnancy is an evento of great importance for a womans life since it is subject to several types of changes where health vulnerable if adequate measures are not taken to harbor a new life. In addition, it is usually during this period that the administration of antibiotics is necessary to control infections caused by microoganisms that putt he life of both the mother and her child at risk; however, it is relevant to know the repercussion of the use of certain drugs to avoid oral pathologies in the newborn. Therefore, this bibliographic compilaytion aimed to identify the antibiotics frequently administered during pregnancy and their repercussions on the oral health of newborns. To achieve this, we considered information from 43 studies in the following languages Spanish, English, and Portuguese, obtained from databases such as aFrontiers, PubMed, SCIELO, NCBI, and university repositories. Finally, we determined that cephalosporins are the most frequently prescribed group of antibiotics; we also found that the most frequent oral pathology in neonates is hypomineralization associated with the consumption of amoxicillin
