Diagnóstico de la producción agropecuaria de la parroquia Santiago en el año 2012 y elaboración de perfiles de comercialización, tres de productos agrícolas y tres de productos pecuarios que tengan mayor demanda en el mercado

The present investigation denominated "DIAGNOSIS OF THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION OF THE PARISH SANTIAGO AND THE ELABORATION OF PROFILES OF COMMERCIALIZATION, THREE OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS AND THREE OF CATTLE PRODUCTS THAT HAVE bigger DEMAND IN THE MARKET" have as general objective to characterize the agricultural production determining the following variables: quantity that is harvested, quantity that is dedicated to the commercialization, commercialization channels that the farmers and cattlemen use to sell the products, production cost and selling price. For the execution of the objective you uses among the methods: Deductive Method.- the literature revision and for all the mathematical procedures; Analytic Method.- to interpret the obtained results and to end up deducing the conclusions and recommendations; Historical Method.- He/she allowed to make a recount of what has been and it is the agricultural production of the parish Santiago, likewise I facilitate to know the fundamental aspects of the parish from their foundation. Among the technical ones it is counted: The survey.- that you applies the farmers and cattlemen of the place, to obtain the quantities of products that cultivate, as well as the quantity and variety of species of animals that raise; The interview.- he/she was carried out to the proprietors of positions of supply of agricultural products in the municipal markets of the city of Loja for the determination of the demand of the products coming from the parish Santiago. The investigation was carried out only keeping in mind to the farmers and cattlemen of the parish Santiago that you/they are in a total of 226 people according to he/she informs this way it the last population census and housing carried out by INEC in the year 2010 in which the activity branch was also consulted to the one that each citizen is devoted, to be about a finite population of 226 people information of the total of the agricultural producers it was extracted. The results indicate that 4.376 hectares are used for the agricultural production that is equal to 43% of the total of the territorial extension of the parish Santiago that is of 10.203 hectares. The main products are the quesillo with a production of 1.540 pounds per day, the corn with 6.480 quintals, and the potato with 2.100 quintals average for production cycle. It was also identified three distribution channels being that of the intermediary wholesaler with 49% the one that mostly use the producers to market their products. Then you proceeded to carry out the market study to analyze the demand of the agricultural products in the municipal markets of the city of Loja, the same one that I determine that the tender pea, the cauliflower, the tree tomato, the quesillo, the Creole eggs, and the guinea pigs, they are the products more requested by the consumers in the markets. The Main conclusions that are obtained of the investigation carried out on the diagnosis of the agricultural production of the Parish Santiago are: The main products are the quesillo with a production of 1.540 pounds per day, the corn with 6.480 quintals, and the potato with 2.100 quintals average for production cycle. Of these three products the quesillo is the one that mostly is marketed in an average of 86% of the total production. The study indicates that the agricultural products that take place in the parish Santiago of more demand are: the tender pea, the cauliflower, the tree tomato, the quesillo, the guinea pigs and the Creole eggs. According to the analysis of the production costs, the products that you/they leave more profitable adult are: the tree tomato that offers a margin of utility of 100%, the Creole eggs with a margin of utility of 88%, and the tender pea with 63%, according to the production cost. Based on the conclusions he/she intends the following recommendations: The agricultural exploitation at world level has to be managed in a rational way maintaining a balance between the cultivation areas and the natural forests, it is suggested to MAGAP Ministry of Agriculture, Cattle raising, Acuacultura and he/she Fishes, to continue with the work of informing by means of chats, seminars, or shops the agricultural exploitation in form and technique of the cultivation surfaces with the purpose of preserving the environment. It is suggested to the agricultural producers to increase the production of the tender pea, the cauliflower, the tree tomato, the production of guinea pigs and of Creole eggs. Because these products have great market demand It is suggested to implement production systems in those that it is optimized the available resources to be able to lower the production costs and to obtain economic better benefits for the agricultural producers. The obtained results are the product of the information poured by the producers, it is necessary to point out that when not having a topography team the quantities of arable areas for the agriculture like for the cattle raising they are dear according to the visual perception of the interviewees, likewise they pointed out that they don't take registration of the quantity that is harvested and the distribution of the same one, therefore these figures picked up in this study are quantities deduced according to the experience and to the handling I practice that they give to the agricultural production in this parish.
