Desarrollo de un software educativo como apoyo al proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en los alumnos del quinto año de educación general básica en la asignatura de inglés de la escuela José Ingenieros n˚ 2, de la ciudad de Loja. Periodo 2012 – 2013

This research work had as general objective to develop an educational software to support the teaching and learning process in students of the fifth year of Basic General Education English course at the School of General Education Basic "José de Ingenieros No. 2 "city of Loja; this due to lack of computer teaching resources that help the learner develop skills in speaking, writing, listening and reading correctly in the English language. To do the main research methods such as were applied: the scientific method, deductive method, inductive method, the analytical method, systematic method and descriptive method; besides applying the techniques of observation, interview and survey that facilitated the collection, analysis, and interpretation of information for the ICONIX software development methodology that was the most adjusted to the needs used was necessary and requirements of a quality educational software, coding was done in ActionScript 2.0 and Flash design in Adobe CS5. The end result quality educational software, which is tailored to the needs and requirements of students and teachers of the subject of English, which can be used as a teaching tool to facilitate the learning process, adapting to get pace of student learning and helping to develop macro - skills to read, write, speak and listen, to communicate properly in English language.
