Summary: | Research "Influence of mixed economy company Lojagas as a natural monopoly and its socioeconomic impact in the market town of Loja, 2013 period", was developed with the following objective: "To determine if the level of market concentration part of the mixed economy company Lojagas allows dealers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) work experience of abuse of market power and whether they affect the levels of satisfaction of families Lojanas, during 2013 ". They saw that in the section of the marketing process of domestic gas is where problems between dealers and users is generated, a situation summed up in the following issue: "The monopoly position of the Society of Mixed Economy Lojagas in the city of Loja, cause inefficiency in the quality of service provided by their respective dealers in the marketing and distribution of LPG, causing discomfort to the users of the town". The research conducted was descriptive, historical, bibliographic and field type, and as employed scientific methods: statistical, inductive, analytical and called SERVQUAL method. Moreover was used as technical literature, observation, survey of users of the city of Loja and interview applied to dealers and Ex - company officials Duragas SA The results determined that: dealers comply with conditions or characteristics that allow them to use their market power; the activity of sale of domestic gas in tanks or holds is not significant and profitable revenue to its owners, so they have implemented home sale service, a service that generates more revenue; and that the degree of user satisfaction is described as dissatisfied because their expectations exceed the actual perception of the service they provide authorized in the market town of Loja distributors.
