| Samenvatting: | Teaching resources are of great importance since they increase interest and students´ motivation, which facilitates the teaching and learning process. This research was made with the purpose of enhancing the academic performance of the students through creative didactic resources, which stimulate the teaching and learning process of the tenth year of Higher Basic General Education, in the subject of Natural Sciences in “27 de February” High school, school year 2021-2022, this research is of qualitative type, since from the diagnosis to the end of the intervention process, through different research instruments the particularities of the educational process, with students as actors of the research, which allow conclusions to be drawn about the changes observed in the intervened reality. Likewise, this investigation is considered as participatory action research, since throughout all the research, action and participation of both students and researcher are combined in order to achieve significant changes; according to its temporal location, it is of transversal type; because it takes place over a certain period of time. The used techniques correspond to direct observation, survey and interview with the corresponding instruments (the observation matrix, survey questionnaire, interview guide and evaluation questionnaires) that were applied to 20 students of the tenth grade, class “A”. With the results obtained, it can be demonstrated that the didactic resources that facilitate the teaching-learning process are: experiments, puzzles, flipcharts and models. Also, resources such as the projector, the computer, among others, were used. The use of creative didactic resources enhanced the academic performance of the students, which was evidenced in the qualifications before and after the intervention; the use of the different didactic resources significantly favored the teaching and learning process of Natural Sciences by motivating the active participation of the students during the development of the different topics.
