סיכום:This research work is focus on the analysis of the grounding protection systems in existence in the Universidad Nacional de Loja, and the presentation of a model based on the established techniques and assures the efficiency of the system. The process of this model include a research of the resistivity of the soil, calculation of the quantity of electrodes, kind of installation and the configuration of them, selection of the diameter of the ground wire and calculation of the ground resistance. The mathematic calculation throughout an informatics tool has been developed with the purpose of improving the modeling process. Besides this research work, show the results got in the experimentation of different procedures used to reduce the values of resistivity of soil. The tender of the model of the grounding system of the Universidad Nacional de Loja is adapted to the different needs and characteristics that present each one of the different system existent in buildings, distribution transformers and system of electric distribution. As application of the model, was made the construction of a multiple electrode system in the Área de Energía Industrias y Recursos Naturales no Renovables building, getting satisfactory results.
