Sumari:Anxiety is one of the most frequent mental disorders characterized by intense fear, translated into constant worry, which when lasting long periods of time significantly affects the actions of the person and one of the diseases that especially affects the adolescent population are eating disorders characterized by dissatisfaction with one's own body, associated with dysfunctional patterns of cognition and weight control behaviors, resulting in biological, psychological and social complications. The objective of this research was to determine anxiety and eating disorders in high school students of the "Daniel Álvarez Burneo" Fiscomisional Educational Unit during the period October 2022 to March 2023. This study has a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach, in which 233 first year high school students participated, a survey, the Hamilton anxiety test and the EAT-26 eating attitudes test were applied, in which it was obtained that 79.40 % have anxiety, where 78.06 % have mild anxiety, 5.10 % have moderate anxiety, presenting mostly in the female sex. Therefore, it was found that there is a statistically significant relationship between the variables by obtaining a p-value of 0.004, showing that adolescents with eating disorders experience mild anxiety
