| Summary: | This resear chwas conducted in the citadel "La Paz" an daimed to assess rustic saccharina supplementation level sof 30% and50% in the guinea pig fattening. 90 guinea pigs were used in this research considering having the same age and weight with an average of 492.27 g, which were distributed in three treatments of three replications with 10 animals per experimental unit, the block design at random and whose data was used compared with the Tukey test. During the investigation productive parameters of treatments (feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion) and second in determining the profitability of the treatments was evaluated. And their diet consisted of grass ryegrass previously oreada twice daily morning and evening, plus food supplement with their respective dose of rustic saccharina for each treatment, T1 (30% rustic saccharina more grass ryegrass), T2 (50% of rustic saccharina more grass ryegrass), T3 control (grazing ryegrass) plus fresh water to all treatment was provided, the remaining portion of each treatment was recorded during the 13 weeks of the experiment. According to the results obtained show that treatment 2 with the (50% rustic saccharina more grass ryegrass) feeding guinea pigs had better feed intake 175264.0 g similarly improved weight gain was reported with 48.17 Kg during the investigation. How much to food conversion statistically no difference between treatments in the T2 values obtained with 3.14; T1, T3 3.38 versus control I submit a food conversion of 2.96. The highest mortality occurred in the control treatment with 6.66%, caused by food that corresponded only ryegrass pasture because the grass was collected in the rainy season due to moisture and grass guinea pigs showed diseases such as pneumonia, and Bloat. In terms of profitability reported higher profit in Q2 dollars versus $ 1.29 per animal A1.18 for tratamientoT1. Upon completion of this investigation is recommended rustic saccharina 50% as a food supplement in daily food guinea pigs for better growth and fattening, likewise disclose these results to farmers and producers of guinea pigs to improve its economy and provide the consumer a good product in taste and weight, and so further research with different supplements and increasing rustic saccahrina by 70% in the nutrition of guinea pigs. |
