Lack of awareness to this problem by those who dwell on earth does that every day we end our nature to throw garbage into rivers, nature reserves, or burn contribute in polluting it. There are several laws that say they protect the environment and penalize those who do not respect or abide but these are not applied as a case should be evident is in the canton Catamayo where the sugar company located MALCA the same as is causing a lot of pollution from burning sugar cane technique used to get their products, but some studies have been done the company can opt for other techniques and it is not as harmful to humans and that his ashes fall into the river and water tanks of the inhabitants of the neighborhood Algarrobera water they use for food, because of the ashes the inhabitants are greatly affected his health in more frequent cases in terms of their health problems are breathing.
