Samenvatting:The research denominated: "PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVEMENT OF BOVINE FARMS, YURARRUMY BARREL, CANTÓN QUILANGA, PROVINCE OF LOJA", since it is considered a cattle zone of great importance for this it was focused on the following objectives: To carry out a situational diagnosis of the Farm management and cattle production, in the Barrio Yurarrumy; To determine the profitability of the proposal for the efficient use of the cattle farms in the sector Pindaca of the district Yurarrumy belonging to the canton Quilanga of the province of Loja; Prepare a proposal for improvement of livestock farms; To socialize the results of the proposal of improvement of the efficient use of the cattle farms to the producers of the sector Pindaca of the district Yurarrumy pertaining to the corner Quilanga of the province of Loja. The purpose of the present investigation is to determine the current state of the cattle farms belonging to ten families in the Yurarrumy sector, for which we applied methods such as: scientific, analytical, inductive-deductive, descriptive, explanatory. Also applied research techniques such as: Bibliographic review, direct observation, survey and field day. The present study considered ten cattle farms, the same ones that constitute the totality of areas destined to the cattle ranch. The elements of study were to the situational analysis of bovine production, economic analysis of the production of bovine milk and proposal of improvement. The results indicate the existence of small areas dedicated to livestock, where natural pastures predominate, the same ones that do not have irrigation, the food base consists of pasture, do not perform rotation of pastures, there is an animal overload per hectare, 100% Of the cattle is of the Creole breed, which directly influences the daily yields of milk, being less than 5 liters per cow per day. The proposal focuses on the improvement of management of livestock farms, with the introduction of 15 Holstein dairy cows, for this will require two areas; A first one of 9 Ha. Divided in 6 batches of 1,5 Ha each and a second area of 1,50 ha divided in 6 batches of 0.25 Ha each, in this second area will be placed to all the calves that will be born , Will also improve the pastures with planting of ray grass and red clover, will be implemented a system of irrigation by mobile spray for one hectare, the same that is rotating as the grass areas require it, will include a rest area next to Troughs and drinking troughs distributed within the paddocks, this will require an initial investment of USD 8407.36 per hectare, the financial analysis determining a TIR of 21% and a cost benefit of 1.31, which for each dollar invested will yield a profit of 31 cents. The purpose of the proposal is to improve milk production, reaching an average of 20 liters per cow per day. In conclusion, it is determined that the low yields are an effect of the poor management that they make inside the cattle farms, poor pastures and the lack of food complements and especially the presence of cattle of low quality in milk production. It is therefore recommended to implement the proposal, whose investment is considerable, but you can ask for support to lenders whose interests are low, and also to strengthen the activity is necessary to request technical support to agencies such as MAGAP and accompanied by a control And register of the activities that are carried out within the livestock farm
