This thesis work called "ACCOUNTING ORGANIZATION AND APPLICATION OF FINANCIAL INDICATORS IN THE LEÓN E HIJOS HARDWARE STORE OF THE CITY OF LOJA, PERIOD JANUARY - JUNE 2020.", was developed taking into account the need of the hardware store to collect, organize and register all the information of the financial situation of the company and in this way the real situation of the same can be known. Throughout the accounting process applied to the entity, the objectives were fulfilled starting with the design of formats and auxiliary records, which allow us to carry out the accounting process in the company, having a better organization, in the same way we proceeded to prepare the Plan and Manual of Accounts, according to the commercial activity carried out by the company, the same that facilitated the identification, organization and registration of the same. To fulfill the third objective of carrying out the adequate control of the merchandise using the permanent inventory system, through the use of Kardex cards, which allowed us to have knowledge and control of the merchandise that the company has; the accounting process was executed, based on the source documentation, Initial Inventory, Initial Situation Statement, the registration of economic operations in the Daily Book, the balances of the accounts in the general ledger, the sums in the trial balance, make the corresponding adjustments in the worksheet and finally obtain the Financial Statements, the same ones that will be a means to know the real economic-financial situation of the company and finally the financial indicators that help determine the operability of the company were applied. business.
