"the same that was made possible by the permission granted by the Rector of the Educational Unit. For its development was raised as a general objective: To determine the degree of anxiety and its relation to family functioning in students of the Special Education Unit José Antonio Eguiguren La Salle and specific objectives: 1. To determine the prevalence of anxiety in teenagers; 2. Establish the presence of family functioning; 3. Know the relationship between anxiety and family function; 4. Design a program for students to improve control of anxiety and family functioning. To fulfill the objectives the IDARE test that assesses the degree of anxiety and FF-SIL Test that assesses the degree of family functioning, finding that 68.6% of the population has a high level of non-severe anxiety was applied while the remaining 31.4% have severe anxiety. In addition it was found that over a third of families have family dysfunction, predominantly moderate dysfunction, the methodology I was used is analytical, descriptive and transversal, through which the degree of anxiety and its relation to family functioning is sought .
