| Riassunto: | The main objective of this research is to develop a feasibility study in the market, technical, administrative, economic, and financial areas for creating a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of passion fruit liquor in the city of Loja. To fulfill the objectives, the pertinent studies were developed to determine the feasibility of the project. The methodology applied was descriptive-exploratory research, through a mixed approach, both qualitative and quantitative non-experimental, the methods used were: deductive, inductive, analytical, and analytical-synthetic. The market study determined an effective demand of 1,539,145 units of passion fruit liquor of 375 ml, a supply of 1,374,148 units, and an unsatisfied demand of 164,997 units of 375 ml. The technical study determined the size of the project, the location of the new production unit, plant engineering and the organizational design of the new company; the economic-financial study indicates that the amount of the investment is $37,425.85, which will be financed 40% through a credit in a financial entity and 60% through own capital, the price of the product is at $3.30 for the first year; in the economic indicators a TMAR of 18.32% was obtained, a positive NPV of $58.436.32, an IRR of 81.69%, which is greater than the TMAR, the investment is recovered in 1 year, 1 month and 10 days. 436.32, an IRR of 81.69%, which is higher than the TMAR, the investment is recovered in 1 year, 1 month, and 10 days, the benefit-cost ratio indicates that for every dollar invested, 33 cents of a dollar of profitability will be obtained and through the sensitivity analysis it was determined that the project supports an increase in costs of 17.85% and a decrease in income of 13.25%, therefore the project is feasible. |
