Summary:The purpose of this research was to determine the prevalence of unwanted pregnancies in users INNFA health sub center of Sucúa. The survey technique with his instrument the questionnaire was applied to 50 users was used. The research design was cross-sectional, descriptive, bibliographic and field. Was obtained as a result that pregnant between 20 to 29 years old are the most numerous with 29%, followed by adolescents aged 16 to 19 years with 26%, it is higher the percentage of pregnant adolescents under 15 years 23%. Mixed race ethnicity dominates 45%; 52% come from the rural sector; 39% have a secondary school, followed by 32% with a higher level. Predominant student occupation at 35%. Marital status is married at 39%. The prevalence of pregnancy is 62%. The 12.90 % do not know the method of family planning, 67.38% do not know any contraceptive method. The 45.16% of users do not know the purpose of family planning. Pregnancy alcoholism 3.23%; 35.48% for the lack of sex education in the home and school, and 54.84% for lack of financial resources. It is concluded that the prevalence of unwanted pregnancies is 62%; which largely corresponds to adolescents, the main causes are is the lack of contraceptive methods. The author conducted as proposed educational activities and workshops.
