Sumari:Throughout time, several methodologies for the musical education and interpretation of the violin have become visible. The present investigative work refers to the methodological didactic axis used in the teaching of the violin, which is carried out in a personalized way through individual classes to fulfill the program based on the study of technique and repertoire according to the year being studied and which is established by the Municipal Children's Symphony Orchestra of the city of Loja. In order to give resonance to the research work, the general objective was to develop a methodological proposal for the learning of the violin in the children of the Municipal Children's Symphony Orchestra of the city of Loja. For the development of this objective, the following methods were used: scientific, hermeneutic and deductive, which contributed to the validity of the research that is reflected in the theoretical framework. In the investigative work, the results obtained from the interviews with the director and the 5 violin teachers of the Municipal Children's Symphony Orchestra (OSIM) were used, who consider that the methodological proposal is important, since it is necessary to adapt the orchestra system to the locality, with a repertoire of local and children's content according to the children's tastes; In addition, the results of the survey of the 25 violin students are important for the realization of the proposal, since they describe how their classes are normally developed and give their points of view to improve their experience in the OSIM. It is concluded that, although the director and teachers of the Municipal Children's Symphony Orchestra of the city of Loja know some of the methodological principles on which the Abreu System is based, they still do not have a guide that provides them with the necessary indications to transfer them to the teaching of the violin. The methodological proposal will provide relevant information so that teachers can conduct classes according to the Abreu method. It is recommended to the authorities and the orchestra director to motivate the teachers to use the Abreu method and above all to make use of the proposal contemplated in this investigative work in order to contribute to the society of Lojano with new violin instrumentalists, who participate and enjoy the orchestral work.
