সংক্ষিপ্ত:The investigation concerns a study of: “THE APPLICATION OF CURRICULUM FIRST YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION AND ITS IMPACT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE SKILLS - MATHEMATICS OF CHILDREN FIRST GRADE SCHOOL "MANUELA CAÑIZARES" PASSAGE OF CANTON Province GOLD, LECTIVO PERIOD 2013-2014, for which it took into account the stipulations of the current Academic System Regulation at the National University of Loja. The overall objective for this research raised was: Knowing the level of incidence of the First Year Curriculum of Basic Education in the development of Logical Skills - Mathematics of children in First Grade "Manuela Cañizares" School Pasaje canton province of El Oro, academic period 2013-2014. The methods used were: Scientific, Inductive, Deductive , Analytic - Synthetic, Descriptive and Statistical Model : methods were used. The techniques and instruments used were : Survey to first year teacher of basic education “ Manuela Cañizares” School Pasaje city to establish the application of the First Year Curriculum of Basic Education in the daily work with children ; and, an Observation guide applied to First Grade children to determine the development of the Logical Math skills . Analyzed the results of the survey concluded that teachers : 100% of teachers surveyed say they apply the First-Year Curriculum in the daily work with the children and show that there is an Educational Institution Curriculum Institutional Plan or First Year Curriculum . In support of the research work an Observation guide was used to determine the development of logical skills Mathematics with the following results: 42% of children have a developing Skills Logical -Mathematical equivalent to Highly Satisfactory, 26% Satisfactory; and 32% Unsatisfactory. Proving that there is a considerable percentage of children who have difficulties in the development of the Logical – Mathematics skills.
