| Sažetak: | The present research work allows exposing relevant information regarding the current situation of the Lagunas del Compadre lacustrine system of the Podocarpus National Park, of the city of Loja, Cajanuma sector; based on this to create a tourism development proposal that contributes to improving the spaces, as well as the satisfaction level of the tourist visit. To do this, the general objective was “Design a proposal for the tourism development of the Lagunas del Compadre lagoons system of the Podocarpus National Park in the city of Loja, Cajanuma sector” altogether with three specific objectives: “Analyze the current tourism situation of the lagoons system Lagunas del Compadre of the Podocarpus National Park, in the city of Loja, Cajanuma sector”, “Determine the capacity of the tourist resources of the lagoons system “Lagunas del Compadre” of the Podocarpus National Park, Cajanuma sector” and finally “Define the scope of the development proposal to strengthen the Lagunas del Compadre lacustrine system of the Podocarpus National Park, Cajanuma sector. The methodology used in the first objective where the current tourist situation of the Lagunas del Compadre lake system is analyzed allowed us to recognize the actual condition of the place through an on-site visit, identifying both the external and internal environment of the study area, the existing offer, and how easy it is to get there, based on the local tourist diagnostic sheet of Carla Ricaurte, identify current and potential tourist attractions; as well as inventorying the lagoons using the Mintur Tourist Attractions File; In the same way, the technique of interviewing the administrative and operational staff was used and surveys were applied to tourists to know the different means used to get to the place, the motivation and the level of satisfaction obtained in their visit; which allowed segmenting the market and establishing the tourist profile. Continuing with the second objective, an analysis of the different regulations, norms, objectives, and category that presented by the study area was carried out in the same way with the help of the Opportunity Range Matrix for Visitors in Protected Areas, the biophysical, social, and management environments were analyzed, establishing certain indicators for each one of them and classifying in what kind of opportunity the study gaps are found. Likewise, the physical, real and effective load capacity was determined for both the trail and the Ocho and Forestal lagoon. Once all the information was obtained and based on the analyses, the strengths, threats, weaknesses, and opportunities were identified using the SWOT matrix, based on which strategies were proposed to help mitigate the negative aspects in the matrix of the Strategic SWOT. While for the third objective, the Logical Framework matrix was adapted to the present study, establishing as proposals the most relevant strategies, previously proposed in the Strategic SWOT matrix. The results obtained with the development of the research show various proposals for tourism projects based on the main problems encountered, which contribute to the tourism development of the study area, allowing the improvement of the existing infrastructure; the communication between the administrative-operational, operational-tourist staff to provide an adequate followup during the visit; training for both the local population and the Park’s operational staff on tourism matters, operating regulations in protected areas, and environmental education; establishing an area purely for tourist use and finally contributing to the promotion and spread of the attraction considering the environmental aspects for the proper execution of tourist activities. Finally, a general budget was established for each of these proposals, which will be necessary for its implementation once the agreements with the competent bodies have been established. In conclusion, it is disclosed that the infrastructure is deficient, the distance to access tourist accommodation and food services is too far, the staff is not well trained and there is no adequate communication between the administrative-operational and tourists staff, however, the proposals seek to attract more tourists to visit the place and at the same time improve the level of satisfaction in their visit. 5 Lastly, it is recommended to the Zone 7 of the Ministry of the Environment work together with the Zonal Ministry of Tourism or in the same with private institutions or local clubs concerned, to contribute and participate in the different activities and projects that contribute to the tourist development of the place while continuing to side conservation and environmental care. |
