總結:Preeclampsia is a multisystem hypertensive disorder, which occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy and is characterized by hypertension (> 140 / 90mm Hg), proteinuria (> 300 mg) and edema, so this research work the following objectives: To identify the prevalence; establish risk factors; and determine the maternal fetal complications of preeclampsia in patients admitted on the Isidro Ayora Hospital of Loja; was a study retrospective and descriptive; a universe of 1565 with a sample of 66 patients who met the inclusion criteria during the period June-November 2015 was used, the information is captured in the data collection sheet by the author. The following results: the prevalence of preeclampsia is 4,22% (n = 66); regarding risk factors are: age between 20-25 años, 30,3 % (n=20); first gesta, 54.5% (n = 36); twin pregnancy, 4.5% (n = 3), family background of preeclampsia, 51.5% (n = 34); secondary school level, 40.9% (n = 27); in urban areas ,56.1% (n = 37); marital status married, 43.9% (n = 29). Based on maternal complications was obtained: HELLP, 30.3% (n = 20); Eclampsia, 18.2% (n = 12); uterine atony, 12.1% (n = 8), placental abruption, 7.6% (n = 5); CID, 4.5% (n = 3) and as for fetal complications: prematurity, 51.5% (n = 34); and fetal growth restriction accounted for 9.1% (n = 6). The data from this research reveal the undeniable importance of education as the main tool of prevention and management of preeclampsia.
