| 总结: | This research project entitled “Destination of alimony payments in Ecuador” focuses on analyzing the current situation of child support pensions, their impact on the quality of life of beneficiaries, and the need to implement an efficient monitoring system to ensure the proper use of these resources. It is based on the premise that child support is a fundamental right for children and adolescents, and its proper administration is crucial for their welfare. The theoretical framework addresses the concept of child support, the obligations of parents and the rights of beneficiaries, based on Ecuadorian legislation, especially the Childhood and Adolescence Code. The importance of guaranteeing access to basic needs such as food, health and education is highlighted, as well as the shared responsibility of parents in the support of their children. Through surveys and interviews with family law experts, several problems were identified. The results reveal a lack of supervision and control in the use of alimony, which generates situations of vulnerability for the beneficiaries. It became evident that the resources destined to meet the needs of the beneficiaries are not always used adequately, which directly affects their quality of life. The research proposes the creation of a social work department specialized in the supervision of alimony payments. This department would have as its main functions the evaluation of beneficiaries' needs, the monitoring of the use of resources, and the promotion of education and awareness of the importance of complying with alimony obligations. In addition, the implementation of digital technologies is suggested to facilitate the follow-up and control of pensions, as well as the creation of a public registry of debtors |
