The Urban Road Safety Plan is designed based on obtaining political resolve and commitment of the Municipal Transit Unit Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Loja, to have priority in the agenda of the municipal authorities and the coordinated participation of different public and private entities to progressively manage financial resources and human resources required for execution. The main objective of road safety is systematically reduce traffic accidents and their role is aimed at raising awareness in the general public regarding accident prevention and compliance to traffic laws . In the city of Loja , for its population dynamics and therefore its vehicular growth is essential to find a new transport model that allows for proper movement of people and goods to be dispensed by encouraging the use of private vehicles , encouraging the development of much more efficient , modern, competitive and cleaner public transport . |

El Plan de Seguridad Vial Urbana está diseñado con base en obtener la decisión política y el compromiso de la Unidad Municipal de Tránsito del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal de Loja, para que tenga atención prioritaria en la agenda de las autoridades municipales y la participación coordinada de diferentes entidades públicas y privadas para que se gestione progresivamente los recursos económicos y recursos humanos necesarios para su ejecución. El objetivo principal de la seguridad vial es reducir de forma sistemática los accidentes de tránsito y su función va encaminada a concientizar a la ciudadanía en general en cuanto a la prevención de accidentes y la observancia a las leyes de tránsito.
