Shrnutí: | Fine motor skills refer to the relationship between the small muscles of the hands and fingers, with the eyes that allow the child to have greater control of their fine motor skills. Having as general objective to determine how the plastic arts influence to improve fine motor skills in children of the initial level II of the Filomena Mora de Carrión School of Basic Education in the city of Loja, academic period 2021 - 2022. The research design was of a quasi-experimental type, as was its mixed approach because it allowed the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. Analytical, synthetic, inductive, and deductive methods were used. The technique used was the interview addressed to the classroom teacher, which allowed obtaining information on the level of fine motor skills in children aged from 4 to 5 years. An assessment scale adapted from the Initial Education curriculum was used as an instrument, in which two skills are evaluated: manual oculus and digital clamp which allowed to determine the level of fine motor development in which the children were. This investigation had a sample of 21 children, the results obtained with the pre-test indicated that 86% of the children were between the level of initiation and in process, demonstrating fine motor problems. For this reason, an activity guide was designed to help improve difficulties in drawing a human figure, in drawing lines, circles, crosses, triangles and squares, making it clear that 57% of children managed to acquire the skill with the plastic arts. Concluding that research of this type should be continued, to contribute to the development of the different areas in children. Keywords: Fine motor skills, coordination, plastic arts, plastic arts techniques. |
