Summary:This research was oriented to “the incidence of the evaluation of learning in the formation of the students of the career of Child Psychology and Preschool Education at the National University of Loja of the distance learning education”. With the use of hermeneutic and descriptive methods, and the implementation of the surveys to teachers and students from the distance learning, empirical data was obtained, it was qualitatively analyzed and processed and subsequently it can was fronted with the theoretical framework. According to the teachers´ and students´ criterion, it was confirmed that the assessment, accreditation and qualification of learning are not assumed fundamentals aspects as the domain of knowledge and practical research in their respective module parameters, such us debates, essays, demonstrations, rigorous field work, etc. Similarly, the teaching practice in this modality has no proper supervision, and formative research occurring in each module of the career provides some methodological difficulties, which limit better training student’s researched career, perhaps due to the characteristics of the modality. This investigation allows us to determine that assessment, accreditation and qualification of the learning must have to be assumed as a process that advances parallel to the development of the module. Finally there are alternative guidelines as recommendations for teachers and students of the career of Child Psychology and Preschool Education of the distance learning education, in order to ensure the ongoing academic support to students in training process and the achievement of expected results.
