Achoimre:The quality of attention in the users is to provide timely care, which allows us to meet a satisfied user and with their expectations fulfilled. The main objective of this research was to determine the perceived quality of nursing care in patients admitted to the emergency area of the "Manuel Ygnacio Monteros" Hospital IESS Loja, demographically characterizing the hospitalized users and identifying indicators of quality of care nursing. The present study was a descriptive cross-sectional study, in which a survey was conducted to determine the quality of care offered by nursing staff. The sample consisted of 180 users who were hospitalized in the months of December 2016 and January 2017. Among the data obtained it was possible to show an age range between 21 and 40 years occupying 34.5%, which 20% corresponds to the male sex, With a secondary schooling level of 16.7%, their marital status single and married with equal percentage 14.4%. As for the indicators of quality perceived by users we have that the indicator of proactivity users are very satisfied with 50%; In professional attitude the users are very satisfied with 48.3%; In verbal communication users are very satisfied with 63.3%; Non-verbal communication very satisfied with 43.3% and regarding the indicator emotional support they are very satisfied in 50.6%. Finally, the quality perceived by the users served in this area is very satisfied in relation to the indicators of quality in nursing care. KEYWORD: Quality of care, perception, user, nursing
