Zusammenfassung:It is unavoidable to highlight the importance and responsibility that the mass media have in the company, is for it that the canton Espíndola on having been located to the south of Loja's province of the Ecuador, is a zone favoured by his climatic variety and landscape painter, giving place to a signúmero of situated tourist natives. Espíndola on having possessed a composition of the only places demonstrated that the tourist promotion that is realized nowadays is insufficient, for the lack of news, articles, few promotion of the canton and his attractions on the part of the local and provincial authorities, for hence a majority disinterest in the environmental conservation what he carries, that the citizenship is not interested for the promotion and preservation of these places.After having analyzed and observed the existing problematics the investigation was realized to give solution as far as possible to this problem that has arisen in the canton, since the disinterest of the espindolenses can demonstrate in small conservation of the spaces of recreation and of the nature that makes a detour to these places. The principal aim of this investigation was to discover as the communication strategies used in the promotion of the tourism they are influencing the creation of a creation of an environmental conscience every inhabitant of this canton. In the investigation the scientific method was included inside the same one there is the deductive, qualitative, quantitative method, analysis of speech, statistician, analysis of results, conclusions, recommendations and an alternative offer. The sample with which one worked was a total of 384 persons, belonging to the canton Espíndola. After the process investigative there was demonstrated the need of diffusion of information that motivates the persons to valuing the tourist - environmental problematics and his aptitude to contribute with her.
