Representación pictórica expresionista, tomando como motivo la cotidianidad de los adultos mayores de la comunidad Gera del cantón Saraguro.

The research work titled: Expressionist pictorial representation, taking as a motive the daily life of the older adults of the Gera community from Saraguro, consisted of investigating and analyzing the Saraguro culture, especially the older adults of the Gera community, as well as the artistic movement of expressionism, artistic, philosophical and aesthetic referents. Three objectives were developed. The first one solves the expressionist line, artistic, philosophical, and aesthetic references, applying the deductive method that consists in compiling the information from bibliographic sources. Objective number two deals with the motive manager of the elder's daily life. Moreover, the inductive method was applied; therefore, theoretical and photographic records about the community and the older adults were conducted. With the development of the bibliographic and experimental research, the process of analysis of the information was made to write the contents of the theoretical chapters. For the process of practical development, the photographic record of a practical-experimental process was analyzed. The sketches were first, and later, we captured them on canvas by applying the acrylic technique. Once the process was completed, we proceeded with the exhibition and dissemination of the pictorial works.
