Análisis e identificación de las organizaciones de la economía popular y solidaria en la parroquia san pedro de Vilcabamba, cantón Loja

As the internal and external economic context expresses its changes and variability, societies consider it necessary to take measures and make modifications to the economic forms or models that are being implemented. For this reason this analysis of Popular and Solidarity Economy is fundamental to identify the weaknesses and strengths that allow real formulation of an action plan, trying to improve its organizational environment with primary attention in establishing coherent models and projects adapted to the needs and realities social, economic and cultural activities in the area. Within the framework of a sustainable economic model that allows the development of a society in an integral and concrete way, the Popular and Solidarity Economy is established as a means that prioritizes economic integration and the development of production, exchange, commercialization, financing and consumption processes. goods and services through relationships based on solidarity, cooperation and reciprocity. Thus, based on these aspects, the thesis work was proposed, with the objective of evaluating the forms of cooperation and solidarity that coexist within the framework of the Popular and Solidarity Economy in the parish of San Pedro de Vilcabamba, Loja canton. , with the purpose of providing an appropriate tool to the authorities and directors of associations belonging to the Popular and Solidarity Economy (EPS) sector. For this reason, the research process proposed to fully identify all the productive and financial organizations in the area in order to visualize the economic environment in which they carry out their activities, through interviews with the representatives, associates and authorities of the parish in order to establish the problematic After having delimited the participation of eight associations in the parish, it was determined that they are destined to the cultivation and processing of coffee, breeding of bees and trout, natural care and water sources as well as the manufacture of manufacturing products and a box of savings aimed at boosting the finances of the area. This problem is exacerbated by the level of distrust that exists among its inhabitants and by their departure in search of employment and academic opportunities in addition to the insufficient and limited sources of financing. In this context, a structured, viable and achievable solution was formulated that allows the parish to reduce the level of social and economic discomfort. The proposal is based on establishing a coordinated, associative and common interest management with equitable and balanced benefits through the constitution of the "San Pedro de 5 Vilcabamba Economic Alliance" which aims to consolidate a network of associations of the parish with the Parish GAD and the savings bank. It will allow channeling the productive and economic forces in order to adapt accessible and real financial products and services to the benefit of all the productive entities of the area. The preparation in productive and marketing techniques to improve business relationships and product quality so that it is able to conquer new markets. In addition, develop capabilities to add value to products and at the same time not become a parish that sell primary products but complete a chain of added value according to the tastes and preferences of the consumer. Finally, with the work done it is concluded that the intervention of the forms of cooperation of the Popular and Solidarity Economy in the parish, has been fundamental in social and microenterprise development, because with the instruction of organizations an entrepreneurial and disciplined culture has been fostered which are essential to develop the skills and abilities of the inhabitants, thus improving their quality of life and contributing to the socio-economic development of the sector.
