Summary: | In the following cantons of Buena Fe (property Santa Marianita ) and Quinindé (property Cucaracha) of the provinces of Los Ríos, and Esmeraldas, are volcanic soils, which receive high rainfall in (1873 and 2896 mm / year respectively). Faced with the need to know with greater certainty the availability of macro and micronutrients that are potentially controlling for crop development and of course the chemical were analyzes of soil laboratories in the country in order to assess the availability of nutrients on the way to plants (current fertility) it doesn’t always reflect the amount of elements and the accuracy, nutrients utilizable that contents of N, P, K, S, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn and B, chemically analyzed (Olsen extraction Amended) was assessed and the biological evaluation using the method of the missing element in the greenhouse, using as indicator plant of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) in two production units of the provinces of Los Rios (6 floor units) and Esmeraldas (8 soil units), as references to validate the analysis of soils in the country officially uses the Red soils Laboratory in Ecuador. The height of the indicator, plant was recorded up to 50 days and the dry biomass was determined. Therefore the plants from nutrient solutions lacking one element of the soils of the fourteen units had lower soil, and development in relation to the corresponding nutrient solution. In Santa Marianita K, N and P were found to be deficient elements, proportions of biomass in relation to the complete solution: 9.51: 1; 34.08; and 163.1: 1, respectively; Zn, Mg, Cu, B, Fe, Mn and S, were at a medium level. The correlation of P, N, Fe, Cu and Mn was not significant at 0.32; 0.33; 0.35, 0.14 and 0.15, in that order, between the weight of the dry matter of the biological evaluation of the nutrient concentration of chemical analysis available from the extraction solution property Olsen; while the K and Zn showed a moderate correlation (r= 0.45 and 0.46, respectively); and finally the correlation was negative -0.48 Mg. Regarding the -K Cockroach, S, N and P were found to be the weakest elements, with proportions of biomass relative to the total solution of 2.47: 1; 2.77: 1; 8.65; and 683: 1, respectively; Fe, Mn, Cu, Mg, Zn and B, were statistically equal. The correlation for the N, Mn, Cu, Zn and Fe was not significant 0.36; 0.28; 0.11, 0.03 and 0.01, in that order; while the Mg had a moderate correlation (r= 0.42 respectively); and finally the P and K the correlation was negative -0.44 and -0.56. Using the Modified Olsen extracting solution should be revised in the case of the laboratory analysis of the elements available in the soil in the north. |
