Proyecto de factibilidad para la creación de una cafetería con barra express en la ciudad de Loja.

The feasibility project allows to know if a business idea is viable and profitable in a certain market, and the present work has the purpose of determining the feasibility of the creation of a coffee shop with an espresso bar in the city of Loja, for which it has been established as objectives to carry out a market study; to carry out a technical study; and to carry out a financial study with its respective evaluation. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach with a deductive, exploratory and descriptive method, and with a simple transversal non-experimental design. The market study determined an unsatisfied demand of 48,837 cafeteria products in relation to the number of visits for the first year. In the technical study, a utilized capacity of 36,400 units to produce between beverages and complements was obtained, based on the 18,200 people that are estimated to attend the cafeteria; the design of the plant covers 35 m2, and the company will be constituted under a natural person with the name MERKAFÉ. As for the financial study, a total investment of $17,442.71 was obtained, which will be financed in a mixed manner, 45.86% with external capital and the remaining with internal capital. And based on the last study a positive NPV of $ 23,031.33 was determined; the IRR of 71.20%; in the sensitivity analysis the project supports an increase in costs of 7.10% with a sensitivity of 0.98, and a decrease in income of up to 5.90% with a sensitivity of 0.98; the RBC corresponds to $ 0.20 cents of profitability for each dollar invested; the capital recovery period will be 1 year, 9 months and 30 days. Concluding that the project is feasible.
