الملخص:Mathematics represents a challenge to select activities in order to make the educational process effective. Therefore, the objective of this research is to propose a didactic strategy founded theoretically and methodologically to improve the teaching-learning process of Differential and Integral Calculus through mathematical modelling in the third year of BGU. This study used deductive and analytical methods; and the fiching technique employing a search log and mixed cards. In addition, the results were analyzed in systematic tables, where aspects related to pedagogical, motivational, cognitive, and family factors were identified that affect in the student's learning; moreover, the foundations of constructivism and socio-constructivism were detailed, together with the necessary elements in a strategy for the development of a proposal. Thus, it is concluded that the adequate theoretical and methodological foundation allows designing an effective didactic strategy for the educational process of Differential and Integral Calculus.
