| Resumo: | The main objective of this research is the neighborhood participation within the project of Co- construction of Neighborhood Solutions exposed in the Public Administration Career of the National University of Loja. Currently, participation is a right in which citizens individually and collectively participate in a leading role in decision making, planning, management of public affairs, therefore, this research aims to specify the organization and neighborhood participation, assisting the neighborhood in the development of collective diagnoses of the problems that arise within the community, helping in the design of solutions to the problems identified by the community; in a permanent process of building citizen power and popular control of state institutions and society. Thus, research instruments such as observation cards, surveys and interviews with social actors and residents of the neighborhood have been used in the methodology; for data analysis, the descriptive, analytical and synthetic method was used, thus determining that the most serious problems in the sector are the lack of areas for family entertainment, green areas and reduced spaces for recreation for children and young people; Based on these problems, the action plan was developed, generating greater participation and commitment from the actors involved, i.e., neighborhood board, residents and competent authorities. |
