| Shrnutí: | This research titled Family Functionality and its relationship to the development of self-esteem of the children of the latter years of General Basic Education Child Development Center "Amazonas Education Unit" of the city of Zamora academic year 2014-2015. It is structured based on the current gidelines Graduation at the Univerdidad Nacional de Loja. The overall objective in this study was focused to: Analyze family functioning and its relationship to the development of sell esteem of the children in the second year of basic general education "Amazonas Education Unit" of the City Zamora The methods used were scientific, Descriptive, analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive, and Statistical Model. The techniques used were Test of Family APGAR Smilkstein in order to know the level of functionality of these families, and Self-Esteem Test Lewis R. Aiken to evaluate the self-esteem of children. The main results of the Test of Family APGAR of Smilkstein were that 40% of the families studied in a group of possible family dysfunction, 37% belonging to the group of dysfunctional families and 23% for the group of family’s functionalities. Regarding test Esteem Lewis R. Aiken 56% have low self-esteem, and 44% have high self-esteem. As a final conclusion we can say that it is clear that if there is a clear impact of the possible dysfunctional family dysfunction and not defined for optimum self-esteem of boys and girls develop part of this study. |
