description The present study is guided to determine the diagnosis of the system of electric distribution and current external illumination of the university citadel, and to determine the present errors with the purpose redrawing the system of electric distribution as in the system of external illumination by means of the use of new technologies; This way we will be a have a more efficient system and a smaller energy consumption that without a doubt will benefit to the institutional growth of the university campus of the National University of Loja. The project consists drawed plans where we find all technical information required for the execution of the redrawings, the obtaining of data of the transformers will be provided by the analyzer of energy quality FLUKE 434, I equip appropriate for determining the loads of each transformation center. The calculation for the I redrawings of the system of electric distribution and external illumination of the university citadel they are based on computer programs, leaves of Excel and to the software of the FLUKE that allows us the obtaining of data in precise and reliable form. Based on the previous diagnosis and to the norms settled down by the E.E.R.S.S.A.; we carry our the new design that consists of modern, more efficient teams and of high technology that will offer a better energy quality and illumination. Among the obtained results, an aesthetic improvement is presented from the university campus to the descongestion the one spread electric, a balance of the existent loads in the transformation centers, the implementation of new technologies and the alternative of presenting an intelligent energy mensuration at user's level by means of the SCADA, achieving a system of electric distribution and illumination external efficient chord with the institutional requirements and based on the development plan for the five year period 2008-2013.

El proyecto consta del levantamiento en planos, en donde encontramos toda información técnica requerida para la ejecución del rediseño, la obtención de datos de los transformadores serán proporcionados por el analizador de calidad de energía FLUKE 434, equipo adecuado para determinar las cargas de cada centro de transformación. El cálculo para el rediseño del sistema de distribución eléctrica e iluminación externa de la ciudadela universitaria están basados en programas informáticos, hojas de Excel y al software del FLUKE que nos permite la obtención de datos en forma precisa y confiable. En base al diagnóstico previo y a las normas establecidas por la EERSSA; se realiza el nuevo diseño, que consta de equipos modernos, eficientes y de alta tecnología, que brindará una mejor calidad de energía e iluminación.
