This research work, called "PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION SCHOOL 2 "GRACIELA Atarihuana" Loja CITY, LECTIVO PERIOD 2013-2014.” ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES. It has been structured and developed in accordance with the Rules of the Academic Board of the National University of Loja. The overall objective was formulated, Sensitize Parents of "Graciela Atarihuana" School of the City of Loja, on the consequences that the Psychological Maltreatment. The methods used were the Scientific, Analytical method - Synthetic, Inductive, Deductive, Descriptive and Statistical Models. The survey of Parent, to establish forms of psychological abuse that children receive, and Listing observation applied to children early education II "Graciela Atarihuana" School to determine the behavior. 40% of respondents Parents scold your son / daughter with the degrading and humiliating punishment , 20% with physical punishment , 20% punishes forbidding freedom , 12% withdraw attention for a moment and 8 % make negative evaluations of the child/a. The degrading and humiliating punishment is the psychological punishment, verbal abuse, ridicule and isolate or ignore a child. Corporal punishment including hitting a child with the hand or with an object, kicking, shaking or throwing a child, pulls her hair. Punishment prohibiting freedom involves removing the freedom to watch TV or enjoy something. Remove the attention for a moment, is for children to stop doing something annoying. Make constant negative rating refers to the hostility of aggressive words to the child emotionally disturb him. These forms of psychological abuse limit the development of intellectual skills, are inhibited and mainly affect the behavior of the child. 54% of children have Shy Behaviors and 46% no, 38% had Assertive Behaviors and 62% no, 16% have Passive Behaviors and 84% no, and 11% have and Aggressive Behaviors 89% no. Psychological abuse they receive from their parents’ makes the child has a shy demeanor, was isolated myself and did not develop social skills with peers and adults, and its incidence will cause social anxiety, insecurity, low self-esteem and difficulty for the child's personal development.
