| Izvleček: | Teaching strategies and oral language are fundamental in education, since that allow teachers to organize activities that improve children's linguistic skills, which it is important to keep in mind that oral language follows an essential process from birth, and over the years children acquire speech and language skills. Therefore, the general objective of this curricular integration work was to analyze the teaching strategies and their relationship with oral language in children from Initial II of the Miguel Riofrío Basic Education school Period 2023 – 2024; this analysis was carried out through three specific objectives: to identify the didactic strategies used in the teaching-learning process for the development of oral language in four-year-old children, also; to describe the level of oral expression that four-year-old children have and finally to determine the most effective teaching strategies for language development. For its execution, a qualitative study research was developed, with a descriptive type, inductive design and cross-sectional. In addition, techniques such as the interview guide directed to the teacher and an observation sheet for the initial II students were used to collect information. Based on the results obtained, it was evident that the teacher did not frequently apply the didactic strategies in carrying out the activities which help the children significantly in their development process. Finally, based on the information collection instruments, it is concluded that it is essential to correctly implement the didactic strategies, which are adjusted to create an active and stimulating learning environment for the development of oral language.
