When the child receives food other than breast milk until your body is ready to assimilate it, it may cause digestive disorders, allergies, intolerances to foods, infectious diarrhea etc. A very common situation that determines the need to begin weaning earlier than usual is related to the employment situation of the mother, since they work more than 8 hours per day outside the home, not allowing the child to receive optimal breastfeeding. That is why was this study entitled "influence of early WEANING on growth of children under 5 years in the parish YANGANA" whose objective is to establish the correlation between factors that influence the early weaning and the quality of growth in children under 5 years in the parish of Yanganawhose results will guide the formulation and implementation of an educational proposal aimed to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding; taking as sample 80 mothers with children under 5 years old.
