El comportamiento del sector minero entorno a las barreras para la implementación de la política pública minera en la Zona 7

In a context where mining plays an important role in the global economy, this study seeks to analyze in depth the relationship between mining and the regional economy in Zone 7 of Ecuador, a region characterized by its mining activity. The general objective of this research is to understand how mining impacts the local economy and how public mining policies influence this dynamic. To achieve this general objective, three specific objectives were set. The methodology used in this study is mixed, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. Descriptive statistics and linear regression techniques were used for quantitative analysis, while a qualitative approach based on logical framework analysis was applied for public policy analysis. The main results of this research provide a comprehensive view of the relationship between mining and the regional economy in Zone 7. The findings highlight the importance of mining as a source of income and employment in the region, but also point out the environmental and associated social In addition, key factors that influence mining public policy are identified and recommendations are offered aimed at improving the sustainability of this activity in the region. Altogether, this work contributes to the understanding of the complex dynamics between mining and the regional economy, with significant implications for public policy decision-making in the local context.
