| Shrnutí: | This research project describes the technical and economic study of an industrial electrical installation reinforced with photovoltaic on a roof connected to the public grid. The hypothesis proposes that the photovoltaic system will be able to reduce the customer's electricity demand as much as possible, consequently the monthly electricity bill will be reduced, favoring the customer's economic profitability. Monthly energy consumption values of the industry have been obtained from the official website of the Empresa Eléctrica Regional del Sur S.A. (EERSSA), in order to to have an estimate of the annual demand for electricity; this method is chosen because the energy produced by the system goes directly to the public grid. Once the required power of the system (45.55kW) has been estimated, an analysis of different sources of information on the solar potential data available at the study site is carried out, which gives a solar potential of 3.52 HPS. Next, the grid-connected photovoltaic system is sized, considering the available area, which is not sufficient to implement the number of panels required to meet the demand in its entirety. By occupying the entire area, approximately 65% of the energy demand can be satisfied. Finally, a financial analysis is performed to determine the feasibility of the project and the total cost of the investment required to implement the grid-connected photovoltaic system.
