| Тойм: | Sexual Transition Infections (STIs) are a public health problem worldwide, affecting men and women, especially young people, who are vulnerable to contracting an infection due to sexual behavior and their age. In context, the present investigative work was developed, related to the knowledge, attitudes and practices of STI prevention, HIV / AIDS, in the students of Unidad Educativa Saraguro. Descriptive type study; For this purpose, the survey was applied as a data collection technique, the information was obtained from 240 students, who participated freely and voluntarily to develop it. This research proposed as a general objective; Determine the level of Knowledge, Attitudes and Preventive Practices on Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV / AIDS in students, of Unidad Educativa Saraguro period 2017-2018, In this regard, it was concluded that students do not have the necessary knowledge about specific concepts, since 64.1% of them do not identify the signs and symptoms of STIs; In relation to the knowledge they have about the transmission routes, only 46.7% of the adolescents know that the contagion is through unprotected sexual relations, being worrisome for this vulnerable group of the population. Regarding preventive measures, only half mentioned the use of condoms as a preventive measure, and about the attitude towards STIs, HIV / AIDS half of adolescents have unfavorable attitudes; however most have good sexual practices.
