Sumario:This research studies the family which is the most important primary human group in the life of the man, the more stable institution in the history of humanity, so that settles the problem the following: "the little participation of parents in the educational process students from sixth and seventh year of basic education school education basic "MUNICIPAL ECOLÓGICA" The general objective of this research is established as: improve the level of participation of parents against the educational process of the students of sixth and seventh year of basic education of basic education school "ecological city, the same that for its implementation requires the development of review of literature, based on the approach of issues relating to the family and the learning process to determine the level of" impact that this has on the development of the knowledge of their sons and daughters, are initial compliance with the verification of this objective. Also in the materials and methods apply the methodology for community self-development, establishing the initial exchange with the claimant subject of professional action, the exploration of the stage, allowing to determine the diagnosis and search for solutions. Results applies the representation of paintings and graphic statistics that determined that 67% of families are nuclear elemental type which generates the necessary spaces to establish ties of family relationship and participation in educational processes. So coming to the conclusion that the families that comprise the educational community of the school of basic education "Ecological city" from the city of Loja, belong to the Group nuclear family because they are present all of its members and that they have not been affected by migration, reason by which you can set an effective action of the professional performance of the social worker's profilewhich parses the family situation and the conditions can be expected to start or sustain the family intervention in the development of the educational processes which are immersed with the concurrence of their sons and daughters to the aforementioned educational center.
