总结:This research entitled EATING HABITS FOR IMPROVING SCHOOL PERFORMANCE IN STUDENTS OF SUBLEVEL BASIC MEDIUM OF GENERAL BASIC EDUCATION, OF THE RAMON SEBASTIAN VALDIVIESO SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF LOJA. ACADEMIC PERIOD 2014-2015, whose central problem is ¿that eating habits should be practiced to improve school performance in students of sublevel basic medium of general basic education of the Ramón Sebastián Valdivieso school city of Loja? proposed as its general objective to recommend healthy eating habits that contribute to improving school performance in students. The research was pre-experimental, cross- sectional, of explanatory character and in field. Methods employing analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive and descriptive statistics that allow one to systematize, represent and interpret empirical data were used. The techniques employed were the signing and surveying of 15 students, one teacher and 12 parents by means of a questionnaire. The results of this research determined that eating habits encourage improvement in school performance, especially if practiced daily at home, this means that the family plays a very important role in the acquisition of these habits so that they are passed on to their children and thus contribute to their physical and mental performance and the development of their intellectual capabilities that will be required when performing academically. It can be concluded that the educational institution has not prioritized health education as a fundamental component of the child's overall development
