The methodology used here was the scientific, deductive, inductive, analytical, synthetic and dialectical method. The study sample was comprised by 9 kindergarten (Basic General Education Grade 1) teachers and 33 kindergarten (Basic General Education Grade 1) children; 25 kindergarten (Basic General Education Grade 1) children and the 9 teachers were taken as a sample for the research. Through the Mesquite Emotional Intelligence test (adapted to children) applied to the children, it was evidenced that 80% had a low emotional intelligence level so in order to contribute with the solution of the problem, applying an alternative proposal called “Building the Kingdom of Emotions” was proposed, which allowed obtaining in the Post-test issues that 96% of children managed to reach a moderate emotional intelligence level, concluding that through the elaboration and execution of the alternative proposal, it would be possible to strengthen the emotional intelligence level in children.
