| Streszczenie: | In the research, a design and construction of a prototype of a charging station with an automatic charging system for an electric scooter powered by photovoltaic energy were carried out. The system that makes up the prototype consists of three parts which are the battery bank, the automated charging system, and the autonomous photovoltaic system that will energize the prototype. The battery bank consists of two batteries of 100 Ah each one of 12 V, which store energy to be used to charge most commercial electric scooters in the city of Loja. The charging system is designed for the user to insert a coin (1 American dollar) and go to the main menu of the charge selection. This menu presents the different voltage levels (36V, 48V, 54V, 60V) which can be selected by the user according to the scooter model. The system has a charging time limit of 30 minutes, once the charging time has elapsed, the system stops automatically and returns to the home screen, and repeats the cycle. Finally, the whole system is powered by a stand-alone photovoltaic system (SFA), on the other hand, three polycrystalline panels of 18V are connected in parallel.
