Programa de educación sexual para optimizar conocimientos y actitudes positivas frente a la sexualidad en los adolescentes de los novenos años paralelos A y B de la escuela de educación básica Miguel Riofrío Nº 2 de Loja período 2014 – 2015

Adolescence is a time of great change, where knowledge and attitudes about sexuality are limited, causing a series of inappropriate practices in this field. Given these references, in this research was proposed as general objective to implement a sex education program to optimize knowledge and positive attitudes towards sexuality in adolescents. The study was descriptive cross-cutting and quasi-experimental design. The methods used were: analytical, inductive, deductive, synthetic, historical, logical, comprehensive, diagnostic and statistical modeling. a survey and Knowledge Questionnaire and Sexual Attitudes (C.A.S) in a sample of 33 adolescents who reported inappropriate behavior sexuality was applied. The results are: 90.9% have low knowledge and 66.7% moderately handle right attitudes towards sexuality (pretest), after the sex education program knowledge and attitudes rise; evaluating the program r = 0.70 and r = knowledge 0,76 in attitudes, which means a high positive correlation in both aspects. It is concluded that the students had low levels of knowledge after the educational intervention knowledge and attitudes of adolescents are strengthened, assessing the program as positive high. Finally, it is recommended to submit for consideration the results obtained for psycoeducativs proposals are implemented in sex education, with the support and commitment of teachers so that help in the formation of adolescents.
