Descripció
Sumari:For the development of this work, the following objectives were proposed: first, to carry out the zoning and tourist characterization, according to land use, of the Paccha property in the Virgenpamba neighborhood; and to determine the tourist activities, in order to take advantage of the natural space of this property. In the zoning, maps of contour lines, slopes, geomorphology, agrological classes, land use, coverage, access roads and trails were generated through geographic information systems; in the characterization, flora and fauna sampling, identification of ecosystem services, landscapes, agricultural activities, tourism infrastructure and an interview with the owner of the farm were carried out. The tourism activities were carried out using the MINTUR methodology for the generation of products or activities, a field visit was made and the generated summary sheets were filled out, activities were proposed taking into account the slopes and agrological classes, based on this data a demand analysis was made to determine the profile of the tourist. Among the main results were that the property has six agrological classes ranging from class two to class eight, and that the land uses (livestock, native forest, páramo, cultivation) are being used in places that are not suitable according to the agrological classes identified. The characterization determined that the property has a medium diversity and a richness of 23 species, 17 family species. The fauna species identified were 4 mammals, 3 birds, 9 amphibians and 7 reptiles, the ecosystem services identified are 15 classified as provisioning, regulation, cultural and support services. Seven landscapes were identified, with crops and livestock as the main agricultural activities, and there is no tourism infrastructure.Seven tourist attractions were identified and classified as category II, which were decisive for tourism activities such as hiking, trekking, flora and fauna observation, among others, so the potential demand was determined for a market segment of young people between 18 and 22 years old. Finally, it is concluded that the tourism potential is a function of land use.
