| Izvleček: | This study focuses on Product Quality in the Plant Mixer Asphalt the Illustrious Municipality of Loja (IML), related to the voltage levels, voltage disturbances and power factor in accordance with the Regulations of the National Council Electricity (CONELEC) - 04/01. Asphalt Plant has a low power factor (average 0.65) and was penalized monthly by the Southern Regional Electricity Company SA (EERSSA) in accordance with the application of Regulation Subs Electricity Supply Regulations (RSSE), which limit the power factor set to 0.92. Will use the method of measuring quality teams EERSSA power measurements performed on a regular basis during the years 2007 to 2009. Practical application of compensation to the records of average power demand, size of a capacitor bank kVAR de75, installation for the IML, and subsequent control measurements. Avoid the penalty average of USD $ 184 / monthly by the Distributor.
