סיכום:The resolution of this research work aims to explain how and to what extent affects the implementation of the “Strategic planning for credit union, the starting point was the determination of the objectives of the study, the same that marked the route of the procedures, actions and analysis. The overall objective was to conduct strategic planning for the cooperative, to improve service capacity during the period 2016 - 2021; and as specific; diagnose the current situation of the cooperative, aimed at finding the reference point for the formulation of the Strategic Planning, 2016- 2021, to the effect were used as methods: the Historical allowed to analyze the facts and events that arose in the past in the Cooperative. The inductive method that endorsed the analysis of internal problems and identify gaps and current potential of the Cooperative. The second objective was to conduct the SWOT analysis to establish the internal and external environment of the Cooperative, expressed their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, propose alternatives to reduce weaknesses and neutralize threats, issue a report containing conclusions and recommendations to facilitate decision-making and be more competitive. To fulfill the objectives it was necessary to implement a methodology for the correct analysis of internal and external factors of the Cooperative; information was compiled by interviewing the manager and conducting surveys to internal and external customers of the same, which the current actual situation of the Cooperative, the base was known to propose strategic planning, determined in the areas of development such as: staff training and maintain responsibility in their work area; Likewise the strategic objectives were established; as are Rethinking organizational culture, improve the process of raising financial resources, implementation of systems of credit lines to expedite placement. The most outstanding conclusions of the thesis are: Run a training plan for the following topics : strategic planning , human relations, customer service , develop the mission and vision and achieve a good position in the market, thereby programming matrix where the Mission was developed is presented and current view in order to know the rationale and how to get in a defined future, for a better development in the activities and improving the service provided by the credit union and finally I have been unable to conclude and recommend the most feasible for this cooperative could increase its market coverage and thus provide effective service to the community.
