Sumari:This paper aims to collect chronologically and morphologically analyzing the most representative works of the empirical and popular canton Santa Rosa in the province of El Oro musicians, with the use of techniques and procedures to achieve the rescue and dissemination of the same, providing local cultural development, provincial, Southern Region and the Country. For those of analytical, ethnographic and survey methods applying to four composers were used: Mr. Orlando Aguilera, Mr. Paolo Infante, Prof. Ing Paul Chérrez and Orly Rodriguez; and interviews with representatives of institutions in the cultural field: Provincial Directorate of Culture and Heritage of El Oro, Casa de la Cultura Extension Santa Rosa, Machala Conservatory of Music, and Culture Department of the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Santa Rosa. They investigated the musicians, of which the majority of his compositions have been linked to Latin American genres, and only 25% have done so in genres national surveys were conducted. In the event thatthe investigation covers only a parade and march (anthem). Also, support for the realization of his works has been more private and musicians own resources, there has been no support from public institutions. Noting that none of the composers have had musical academic study, they have acquired their knowledge through empiricism and developed through experience as musicians. The managers of the institutions linked to the cultural sphere interviewed reported being made to promote cultural projects for local musicians, as is the case as the Phonographic Grant Funds and Fund of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, in which artists can access resources for the realization of their projects, but there is still little circulation and access for musicians to participate in them. It is concluded that there is no systematic collection or where quantified and disseminate the works of composers santarroseños. Is very little support musicians have received from the authorities for the musical production of his compositions; so it is necessary that cultures projects in which a study of local composers and compositions thereof is made, contributing to the enrichment of local and national musical archive, and to promote wider dissemination and support local artists will encourage Thus the various social and cultural events.
